Meekspace is here to give
friends a safe place to associate

Meekspace was started in 2005 by myself, Frankie Wellman, with the goal of providing a safe place for Jehovah's Witnesses to get together online and help each other with their technology. As a life long member and long time Elder I recognize the need to keep safe when using social networks. However, I also realized that there is a real need to get help and support as well as provide those things to each other. Thus Meekspace was born.

We initually started help friends get the Watchtower Publications on their Palm Pilots and eventually smart phones. Working with a group of Brothers from around the world we started creating and providing what we called "Weekly Study Material". This was a PDF file that included all the meeting parts along with the research material to help study and prepare for meetings. At one point Meekspace had over 25,000 members that would come to get these files, get support, and provide their expertise to others. We kept this going until the Branch introduced the "Meeting Workbook" which took over from there.

Fast forward 18 years later and Meekspace is still providing a safe place for Jehovah's people to associate online and get help for their technology and provide their expertise to others. We no longer have near as many members but those members that we do have loyally visit the site on a daily or weekly basis and associate with each other and provide needed support and information to our members.

With the introduction of this website design, we have now gone through 8 different design changes and made various improvements along the way. Our current design has been with you friends in mind. We wanted to provide a clean, easy to use website that provided plenty of things to do and enjoy but not so many things so as to be difficult to use or confuse our members. We hope you will enjoy this version of Meekspace as much as you have the other 7 versions and with your help maybe we can make this version the best we have ever had.
